In order to present a realistic demonstration scenario, a demonstration data handling system software has been produced based on the reusable software outlined in OBOSS-III Software. It incorporates four application processes providing a varying range of services from the Packet Utilization Standard.

Two major objectives should be fulfilled by the resulting system:

All supported services should be provided by one or more of the enclosed application processes.
An application process representing a payload should be included.

An introduction to the demonstrator prototype and its characteristics are provided through the following items:

OBOSS-III Demonstrator Specification
Definition of requirements to be fulfilled by the OBOSS-III demonstrator prototype
Demonstrator Software Architecture

Technical Budgets
Technical budget for OBOSS-III based on the Demonstrator prototype.
Provided Packet Utilization Services
Overview of the services defined in the 'Telemetry & Telecommand Packet utilization' standard supported in the demonstrator prototype.
